The remote sensors are equipped with spring action clips to secure inside your refrigerator or freezer. The main unit is equipped with a fold out stand with magnets on the back- suction cups included. The temperature can range from -22F to 104F. The main unit takes two AAA alkaline batteries and the other two units take two AA batteries. Main unit and remote sensors are able to be up to 100' apart. Note: the freezer unit takes lithium batteries. Batteries not included.
