Indoor Outdoor Wireless Thermometer

The indoor outdoor Thermometer has to deal with two significantly different purposes at the same time and must be able to measure indoor temperature as well as outdoor temperature simultaneously. One can carry a thermometer indoors and then take it outside, but what this article is addressing is the unique situation of being able to measure both at the same time.

The indoor aspect is for the convenience of monitoring what the heat or coolness level is within the house. One needn’t normally have as wide a range of temperature of the indoor aspect because people will never want their room temperature to be extremely cool or hot. On the other hand one does at least want to know when one is getting into extremes in one direction or another so that for instance water doesn’t freeze, or plants don’t wilt at the other extreme. The wireless aspect is particularly tricky with this type of device because one needs to be measuring inside a structure as well as outside a structure at the same time. However, a good wireless set up can accomplish that so long as the outside devise is not too far from the interior source. But that aspect also often allows some significant flexibility in placement of the outdoor aspect of the device. Wireless almost always adds such latitude.

The biggest difference of the outdoor aspect from the indoor is that the outdoor must deal with the extremes of all sorts from weather to temperature to wind. Being sturdy is the bottom line together with significant adaptability. It is also more typical for the outside device to include complementary monitors such as humidity and barometric pressure.
